Navigation menu items with different hover and active background colors

Hi Kadence Team,
My client is asking for the hover and active background colors to be different for each menu item and I’m struggling with the correct css. The regular or inactive menu item background color is white, and then when each menu item is hovered over and active, each item is assigned its own color separate from the others. Can you help with the correct css I should be using?
