Query Loop + Modal: Make entire card clickable to trigger the modal

Background:
I’m using the Query Loop (Adv) block to create a loop of cards for a custom post type. I added a modal block within each card, which will display the post content (dynamic HTML) for each post within a modal.
Question:
I’d like to link the entire card to trigger the modal, vs just the button opening the modal. I see the “Custom Open ID” (Modal Block -> “Advanced” Tab), but I’d need the modal ID to be dynamic, as the loop content is dynamic. Is it possible to make the entire card trigger the modal vs just the button?
