Advanced Header – background colour full width not working

Hello,
I’ve created an advanced header and want to change the background color. This sort of works but only to theme content width.
According to documentation (*Login to see link standard layout is full width background colour with content set at theme width but this is not happening.
I’ve also tried changing the header to full width layout but this makes no difference so something is a miss. Not sure if this is a bug or I’m missing something? Was hoping you might be able to help? Thank you.
