Error: could not retrieve the featured image data

Hi,
I am facing a persistent error: “could not retrieve the featured image data” across all pages and posts. Additionally, whenever I attempt to upload a new featured image, the front-end page goes completely blank. Site icon (top left) is also missing. I have attached a screenshot of the error for your reference.
This follows a recent issue where the homepage went blank and required a backup restoration.
