Gallery on Portfolio Page only 50% width

I’ve tried to create a gallery-page like your example: , but my gallery is always using only 50% of the width.
As I found the bootstrap definition of this area is different. In you example I found this:
<div class="entry-content span12">
and in my webpage it is:
<div class="entry-content col-md-8 ">
This is why it uses only 50%! But why is this generated into the code? Is it a bug of the new bootstrap 3.0 support?
