Aligning text beside images

Two semi-related questions:

1. In the Tutorial for Pinnacle Shop Demo (*Login to see link you use the following:
kt_imgsplit
Which seems to spit the page, put an image to the left, and vertically align text on the right. Where can I find more documentation on these shortcodes?

2. How can I vertically center text within a Visual Editor widget within page builder? I’d like a row with two columns: an image on the left, text on the right, and I’d like the text to be centered vertically and horizontally, with the ability to adjust the left/right padding of the text column only. It seems like I can only edit the padding within Page Builder at the row level, and not at the individual widget level.
