I’ve been trying a bunch of different combinations of settings and nothing’s worked so far so I figured I’d ask since I imaging I’m just missing the setting that would achieve what I’m looking for.

Anyway, I’ve been able to get the headers to cooperate for all my pages and posts except the Monthly archive pages and the category pages. I’m trying to do something like the header here: but my page looks like:

Hopefully I was able to communicate what I’m trying to do.
