Staff details link not working, would like to disable

Hi
I created a staff page, and I’m very happy with it. However, when I click on a staff picture, I’m directed to a “not found” page.
I would like to learn, how to use the staff feature properly for future use – but in this case, I’d would like to disable the “details link” all together, since I don’t enter any staff details besides a phone number that is shown as an excerpt on the staff page anyway. Did that make sense?
The issue is on my dev site and on my trial site where I imported the demo-data: *Login to see link
