menu list disappears with width adjustment

As my browser screen adjusts in width from full screen to a little less than half screen the menu list drops off the header and only my logo is displayed. Its like the font size will not decrease with a decrease in browser width…. So when the screen is too skinny to display all the menu items in a row they just disappear.
