Hey all,

We are using RealFaviconGenerator and it sounds like there is a conflict between the Virtue favicon upload and the plugin. I got this from their plugin author. I would be happy to upload the icon the plugin generates, but I can’t figure out how to access the favicon path from the Virtue –> Options –> Misc panel.

Thanks! Here is their note:

**********

Your icons are declared correctly. However, there a first icon declaration nearly the top of the page:

<link rel=”shortcut icon” type=”image/x-icon” href=”” />

Two issues with this declaration:

RFG’s plugin already does this, so it id duplicated.
The href attribute is empty, so this declaration is somehow erroneous. Maybe this is because the icon does not show up in your browser.
This first declaration probably comes from your theme or another plugin. I advice you to browse your theme option and look for a “favicon” setting of some kind. If possible, disable this entry completely. Else, set it to the content of . The declaration will still be duplicated but at least browsers will always pick the right icon.
