Delete theme and start over?

Hi!
What is the best way to delete the theme and then restart it from scratch?
There are a bunch of small bugs and things that i can’t seem to work out (not blaming it on the theme, i take responsibility for messing it up 😉 ). So i would like to just delete and restart, preferably with the demo-pages included.
I have the files i got when buying the theme, but its a while ago so is it a risk of it getting messed up by all the following updates?
I know i could just try too see what happens and then solve any problems accruing, but some times it’s better to ask for help and get it right from the start.
