A new Virtue site based on an existing one

Hey guys,
We are very (very) happy with Virtue, and it’s time for us to use it on another site. We would like to use our existing Virtue site as the starting point for the new site (it’s in a different market), and then make changes to the contents, media, etc.
Do you think that’s a good idea for starting a new site?
If you do, what is the best method for restoring our current site to a new site, new URL, etc.
