Hi Ben,

We have an older site that was originally developed with Dreamweaver (I’m dating myself) about 11 years ago, and then incrementally updated and expanded with WordPress and Joomla applications, vBulletin and X-cart in subdirectories ever since. But the core is static html pages, so it doesn’t work with mobile devices. The site gets good Google search results and a lot of traffic, which is a big part of the business. But the time has come to move the whole thing to WordPress.

1. Are there tools to migrate hundreds of older html pages to WordPress and Virtue?

2. If not, what is the best way to do the migration?

3. Are there SEO risks to doing a major migration? How should we handle those risks.

In general, what do you recommend?

Thanks! This is a big thing for the company.
