Disable hover function in menu

Hi, I am looking for a way to disable the hover function in the top menu that makes the submenu displayed on hover. I only want the sub menu to be visible for the current page item, after you click the parent menu item. Can you tell me how I can make this happen, or where I can find the specific script?
