Header text shadows

Hi,
I have this blog post: *Login to see link
I would like to know if it’s possible to give the text “Tips and Tricks” a shadow so it’s easier to read the headline?
And also: When you search for a word in the search bar, then a lot of search results come up.
The background picture here is the one that comes with the theme. But I have no idea how to change it?
I’d like to have a standard background picture, so I don’t have to change it for every blog post etc.
AND: I have a drop-down menu. In the demo I see that there is a different option for the menu. (The one at “Features” in the demo version)
How can I get that one?
