Dear Kadence, Using a Pinnacle Premium Child Theme, editing css by way of Dashboard/Appearance/editor (I received Ben’s warning about messing up the php there, I think I’m safe bec. I’m only writing css in the style.css file there?). I am aware but not unconfused about how choices I may have made in Theme Options affect things. Have tried to make wise choices, including Not Choosing. Here’s my site, http://www.rhgholdings.com/wp3rd/ but you’ll need user & pw to see more than the front. It’s the background color on the dropdowns hover: I think it’s taking the dk gray which I put in Theme Options for Basic Styling/Primary Color. But that’s not a good backgr for the dropdown hover. The Theme Options for Menu Settings/ Dropdown Menu Style don’t seem to be helping me, other than the font size. Transparent has no effect. I managed to grab the dropdown background and style it for very transparent, using .sf-menu ul as a selector. But I don’t know how to get Firebug to enlighten me on the selector for the hover. Is it some level of magic I don’t know how to harness? Javascript? Have searched the forum, tried a variety of selectors from your answers there, to no avail. (Feeling glum, this is at the front end of rebuilding the site with Pinnacle after something went awry with ‘Cannot modify header’ warning on my Virtue construct, a plugin conflict? Tried the plugins with Pinnacle and at least that seems working ok, now it’s just finding a slew of selectors to get control of the look.) I do appreciate all you do, sincerely!
