Hi,

I upgraded to Virtue Premium today.

On a completely clean install with WordPress v. 3.8.1 on my test domain [the primary one is almost the same, but adds an “ism” to the end, and this exact same problem initially occurred there]: — with absolutely no plugins, I tried to install the Virtue Premium Theme v. 2.0.9 from within wordpress by uploading the .zip, and was redirected to this URL: — with this error message:

Are you sure you want to do this?

Please try again.

Next I unzipped the file locally and FTPd the folder to my site, and installed it successfully.

I then went to Top Bar Settings and turned “Use Topbar Icon Menu?” to On.

Then I browsed for icons. All of them had “& nbsp;” [with no space; I just put that in in order to post here] before the CAPITALIZED description for the icon, e.g, “ICON-HOME”. Some, such as ICON-HOME, showed the icon to the left of & nbsp;. Others did not. You can see a screenshot of what I mean:

For those where the icon showed up in the selection area, they are visible on the site. For those where the icon didn’t show up in the Top Bar settings area, they likewise didn’t show up on the site.

This was not an issue for the Virtue free theme v. 1.9.9.7, which worked flawlessly in this regard.

(Note: I thought, possibly, this was an issue with importing my settings from the .json. However, on the completely clean with no imported settings, it was likewise an issue.)

I haven’t played around with the Premium theme v. 2.0.9 enough to know if there are any other similar issues with it, but I guess I wouldn’t be surprised.

Anyway, I’m hoping this can be solved since I do love the theme.

Cheers,

Christoph

P.S. Do you have archived versions available anywhere for download in case I want to try a previous version to see if it works better?

Update: I noticed that after I took the time to actually upload another icon, the “& nbsp;” had disappeared, but many icons still seem to be missing:
