blog summary word count

Hi there,
We have a portfolio carousel showing at the bottom of our blog pages, and the summaries below the photos look ragged because even though they have the same word count, some words are longer than others of course, resulting in some posts having more lines of text below them than others.
Can we set it to show a certain number of lines rather than words?
Here’s a sample page:
