WordPress Update 4.2.1 update not showing

My website is NOT set to auto update new WordPress updates. I received the message about the 4.2.1 update via email and noticed that there is no option for it on my website. When I use the “check for updates” button, my dashboard says there are none to be found. Would the Virtue theme be impacting the inability to add the updated version of WordPress? I’m really puzzled. My website is “stuck” on 4.1.2 with no updates available.
