More than 8 items in secondary menu

Hey – thanks so much for support on your product.
I just added my 9th menu item to my main menu, which is actually the “secondary menu” on my theme. I would love for everything to still fit on one line. However, I in the drop down menu under theme options -> menu settings -> secondary menu item size I can only choose up to 8 items fit in the menu bar.
Is there a way to override this to be able to fit my 9th item on one line? I’ve searched forums and don’t see this question. Thanks! Connie
