I am trying to have my blog posts on the homepage as image left and excerpt right – but I just can’t seem to do it – I altered the settings in ‘blog options’ and also have altered them individually within the blogs and nothing changes….what am I missing?

Oh also if there is a way to do this in the shortcode within a page that would be great too!
