Different header background images on each page

On the Virtue Premium theme, what is the best way to set up a different header background image for each page?
I’d prefer not to create a set of new custom page templates, as this would reduce flexibility to expand the site or change images in future.
The site owner is wanting static header background images on each page rather than having a slideshow of several images on each page.
Any guidance would be most appreciated.
