Kadence Slider – change background color

Hi. I’m trying to change the background color of my slider, the same way it’s done in “Advance Styling – Main Content Background”, without altering the background of other content. For example, the slider is 940px x 400px and I’d like to keep it that way, but I’d like to have an accompanying black background that is full width. So it looks black on either side of the slider & extends all the way to the edges.
