revolution field missing in slider options

Hello i am setting up the theme and added the revolution slider to the homepage widget area however it displays “No sliders found, Please create a slider”
I created the slider before i added it to the widgets area? I went to home page slider options page and the first box shows ” Choose a Home Image Slider ” i selected Revolution slider HOWEVER the box below it “If Revolution Slider and Choose your Revolution Slider Here, it says “No items of this type were found” and there is no field box to enter? It seems it is not recognising the slider? Help appreciated. Carol-ann
PS it is possible to change my contact email on this as i see no where in my account to do this, i want it changed to [email protected] this is the site i am installing it on.. thanks
