Permalink not working

I have a problem with my permalink to Portfolio.
Originally the portfolio base is called “folio”.
Now all my portfolio posts has the base as portfolio as in “portfolio.domain.com/portfolio/postname” instead of “portfolio.domain.com/folio/postname”
Even if I change the portfolio page permalink to portfolio, it should make sense that it should work. but the post itself links to Page Not Found even with “portfolio.domain.com/portfolio/ ”
What just happened? Is this from the upgrade?
