Post Summary Default – Apparently not taking effect

I have it set to Landscape image – (not sure of the difference between the the portrait and landscape, I mena I know the difference in english but not what this translates to in the theme)
Anyway, most of my posts have a featured image, but the image is not showing in the archives as they should. I have to set this manually to override the default so as to make the featured image render in the archives – I’m sure this is a quirk as the posts are not made manually, but rather with WPMUDEV’s Autoblog.
