database and search

Hello, this topic is a little bit out of your themes, but maybe you can help me.
I have to make search button on the homepage and database table on the other page. search and database table must me connected, it means that if you are searching something it will find only what is in database table. It cant be online shop.
For example: i have fruits database table and if im searching an apple, then i will see only information about apple.
Do you have any ideas?
