Remove image in blog shortcode

Hi Ben & Hannah,
Is it possible to remove the blog image from the blog posts shortcode? Some of my blog entries don’t have images and it doesn’t look very nice when one is next to an entry that does. I’m guessing I can just use css display:none, but I don’t know which class to call.
