Change Active Menu Background

Hi there since I am here asking questions I might as well as one more.
I see where I can change the active and hover background for the main menu but I was wondering is there way to only have the hover color background and text change and to keep the active background and text the same color as the rest of the header.

My header background is white, I want to have blue when I hover over the menu.
