How do I change the site header background colour?

I tried searching here for quite a while but couldn’t find my answer. Forgive me noobness if I misname some items.
How can I change the background of the site header from transparent to white. I think it is the site header. When I start scrolling my home page the logo appears with a slightly transparent background. This is what I would like to change.
Any help is much appreciated.
