I only allow sales to Canada and the United States. These are the settings I have in Woocommere. However, I recently got an order from Puerto Rico. Somehow it thought it was from the U.S. and did not charge extra shipping. I had to call the client and tell them that the extra shipping would run $550 if I shipped UPS or $400 if I shipped USPS. They cancelled the order. I submitted a ticket to Woocommerce about this and they replied that they thought it was the “theme” as it was overwriting a number of their templates. See email below:

Hi Robert,
Welcome to WooSupport.
The settings to only block to specific countries is not fail safe. Depending on the customers IP and input it can be circumvented.
But what I suspect to be the culprit here is your theme. It does overwrite a number of our templates, thus it might be interfering. I would update the template files, that should mend the problem.
best regards

How do I update the template files? Can you help with this? I don’t want to get into a “finger pointing” situation here. But I was led to believe that the Pinnacle Premium theme was compatible with Woocommerce. Thanks. /Bob DeCloss
