loading unproperly the category pages

hello Ben and Hannah!
When I’m loading a category page on my site ( especially on the desktop version) first time this page remain blank and only after I push the refresh button the products photo’s appear. Do have any idea what can I do to fix that, because I found that pretty disturbing for a site visitor. Any way, in general the front page is loading very slowly (on mobile and desktop, to). The photos that I load on my website are between 1200×1600( products photos) – 1350×2024.
