How to change the width of pages

Good evening,
Currently our homepage uses the Home Slider to display an image that takes up the full browser window (*Login to see link ). We love the look of this and we would like our “About Us” (*Login to see link page to have a high-quality image taking up the full browser as well. The “About Us” page was updated from the demo content and I am not sure if we are restricted to a limited area due to the page type. Please let me know if there is any way to achieve this.
