Direct search after click (search primary menu)

Hi,

I love the search in primary function option. It is more obvious to me and keeps the topmenu more clean on mobile.

Thx to this pease of code (i found here)
#kad-menu-search-popup {
width: 300px;
}

the popup search is way smaller, looks better then the full search.

But the one thing i don`t really like is that you have to click twice, first on the search icon, and then in the search popup to enter your search.
Is there a way to direct type after one click on the search icon?
