On Pinnacle Premium 1.5.0 if you change Site Language from English (US) to English (UK) in the Settings/General tab you will find that you will lose the ability to edit and create pages in the Pages tab and a blank screen page will return. If you switch back, this error is resolved.

Hope this helps others who discover this.
