Image slider on portfolio grid

Ben,
I have a portfolio page that uses the image slider to alternative between two images as follows :
I have two questions :
(1) Is it possible to alter the speed the images change globally on the portfolio grid page? Ideally I want to slow it down.
(2) If I wanted to can I turn the image slider off automatic slide and have it just on manual?
