Removing Metadata (Author username & Tags) when posting link on Facebook

I’ve selected to hide the author name and tags on my blog and it works fine. However, when a link to the post is shared on Facebook all that information is make public (author/WordPress user name, tags, etc.) What do I need to do so the metadata is not visible when links to the posts are shared on Facebook?
