Cyclone Slider? update?

Hi there–

What’s the deal with updating the Cyclone slider? I don’t use it right now but when we updated Virtue, it said the Cyclone slider needed updating …

but, no go. here’s what happened:

Unpacking the update…

Installing the latest version…

Removing the old version of the plugin…

The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files.
This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions. images/screenshot.png,
templates/default/images/bg-caption.png,
templates/default/images/sprite-arrows.png,
templates/default/images/sprite-nav.png,
templates/galleria/images/galleria-bg-bar.png,
templates/galleria/images/galleria-sprite-arrows.png,
templates/galleria/images/galleria-sprite-play-pause.png,
templates/galleria/images/galleria-sprite-prevnext.png,
templates/thumbnails/images/bg-caption.png,
templates/thumbnails/images/sprite-arrows.png,
templates/thumbnails/images/sprite-nav.png

Plugin update failed.

Since, we don’t use Cyclone Slider at this time we just pulled it out of the plugins directory until hearing back from you what might be the problem. Checked it out on three of our sites — which have varying degrees of other plugins (all the way down to nothing else) but still had problems.

Any idea?

What is MOST important to me is making sure that nothing in Kadence Themes (Virtue) relies upon the Cyclone Slider to function (other sliders, whatever…)
