Image menu on homepage

Hi Ben,
I’m looking to increase the size of the pics of the image menu on the homepage. At present I’m working it out in visual editor, but even after I have stretched the pics to full size… it still has big gaps inbetween the menu pics. I’m looking for maybe a 1 to 2 pixel gap between the images.
Also, when I try to make the image clickable, by linking it to some url … the entire picture doesn’t show up on the homepage.
Could you please help?
