Homepage SEO low score

Hi,
i saw many recommendations in this forum to use Yoast SEO plugin so i install the plugin and started to optimize my pages.
i get very low score to my home page, i checked it and it look that because i use the Theme features to the homepage (Home Layout) i don’t have visible text (from the Yoast: The text contains 0 words). i also use the rev slider in my home page.
can you share some tips how to improve it?
