Change appearance of responsive-tabs

I purchased the premium theme but I’m still using the free version. Are there any additional options for changing the appearance in of the tabs in the premium version? I’d like to make the inactive tabs more prominent, perhaps by changing the background color. My CSS is weak at best and I couldn’t find any discussion in the forum on this topic.
