Built in Contact Form suddenly sending me spam

A few weeks ago I started receiving spam from the built in contact form. I’m not receiving a lot (maybe 1 or 2 a day), so I don’t know if it is an actual person sending the weird messages (just a bunch of URL’s) or if the math captcha isn’t working. I’ve tried using the Contact Form 7 plugin, and it works well, but I’m unable to change the field sizes as described in their documentation and looks awful. It was suggested that there is something in the theme that isn’t allowing Contact Form 7’s fields to be resized. Any thoughts?
