Problem with portfolio grid page hierarchy in Virtue Premium

Hi,

I’m having a few problems with the hierarchy and navigation through my portfolio grid pages and would really appreciate some help.

When I click on a category image on the Portfolio Category Grid Page (myftpupload.com/plant-knowledge/) I currently get to the portfolio-type page:

myftpupload.com/portfolio-type/weeds/
Breadcrumbs:Home » Plant knowledge » Weeds

But actually, I want the link to go to the portfolio grid page, which has the same breadcrumbs but different URL:
myftpupload.com/plant-knowledge/weeds/
Breadcrumbs:Home » Plant knowledge » Weeds

At the moment, I can only get to the portfolio grid page by clicking through further to the individual portfolio items (myftpupload.com/portfolio/dandelion/), then back out again via the grid icon (top right).

Is there anything I can do about this?

Also, if I add sub-categories here (eg.’medicinal weeds’ and ‘edible weeds’ as sub-categories of ‘weeds’), then the sub-category featured images appear in the main portfolio category grid page. Is there any way to avoid this, so that only main categories appear in the portfolio category grid page, and subcategories appear in the individual portfolio grid pages?
