Register at Checkout or MyAccount doesn't work

Hi,
This was not possible to register at Checkout or MyAccount.
At MyAccount page, login works, Register is showing but nothing happens when registering.
Same if registering at checkout.
Fixed (looks like it):
I activated another theme, this worked.
I reactivated Virtue and it works now.
They have exactly the same problem here:

It seems all good now but could you please give me some ideas about what have happened so I know what is going on if it ever happens?
