Woocommerce Subtitle

Hello! I’d like to use the subtitle on my Woocommerce shop page instead of the Woocommerce count result. I’ve copied the archive-product.php template, and tested it (so I know it’s the right page to edit). I used the code from page-header.php for the subtitle (also tested) but adding the code to the archive-product.php template doesn’t seem to work. I know I could just add the subtitle into archive-product.php but I would prefer not to as I’d like to edit it through the admin interface.

Any suggestions on how I’d get the subtitle to work? In my admin, under pages, my page is called Shop and I’ve added a subtitle. Adding regular content works just fine (it appears above the shop products).
