Portfolio items on homepage

Can the option “Choose how many Portfolio Items on Homepage” be extended more than 20 ?
The slider only allows you to adjust up to 20 and i have over 50 products that i would like to show.
I am using an isotope filter but it seems like the 20 limit prevents more than 20 products being available on the home page.
