Subscribers can't see comments on posts

Hi there, I’m using Ultimate Member for role administration. I have issue with comments area on posts: subscribers role can’t see comments. The <section id=comments> doesn’t show up, even if the function have_comments() returns TRUE, so I think it wouldn’t be a permission’s problem (although Admin, Editor and Author roles can see comments). Comments approval is disabled.
