Split content wide widget

Hi,
I’m using Split content wide widget for my porfolio projects, but there are few problems:
1) the page layou is good at first, but if I reduce the browser window and then I come back to fullsize window, the content moved to right! if I refresh the page, it gets back as the beginning….why?
2) I don’t like the space between content rows, how can I remove it to have a layout like here *Login to see link
