Hi.

I’ve read your procedure for updating a Theme manually, but this is not the way I have manually updated Themes from other vendors.
I am running the Virtue Premium Theme, along with a Child Theme to prevent any customisations being lost when a Theme is updated.
I would have thought that the correct procedure would be to download the latest Theme, extract all the files, and upload them to the Parent Theme Folder via FTP and overwrite the old files.
Not the procedure as detailed at
FYI, the Theme has been updating fine and I wouldn’t be bothering with this except that since the latest WooCommerce update, there is a message about outdated template files.
Seeing as it is the Template files that are out of date, can’t I just upload those files overwriting the existing ones?

Regards
Greg
