Virtue Image Widget question

Hi,
I am using the Virtue Image widget on my home page with PageBuilder. I want to link directly from my image to another page. The only way I could do this was by opening the link in another window. I want to link from the original image.
Also is there any way to change the text format on the caption under the image? Thanks.
